ABOUT
The Finnoch Press is run by Craig Nugent, a printmaker, designer, writer, musician and teacher with an MFA in fine art from the University of Dundee. He also has some unfinished business with an earlier degree in literature temporarily abandoned.
Craig's work is held in major collections such as; The Lighthouse, Glasgow, Dundee University, and the Pittenweem International Arts Festival. In 2003 he was awarded the Bernard Cooper Memorial Prize for printmaking for his trademark sugar-lift and aquatint etchings.
He ceased all involvement in art in 2008 and created the design agency Yellowhammer Creative in which he was Creative Director, this allowed him to look after his son full time. In 2015 he built a relief press and began making prints again which culminated in the founding of the Finnoch Press.
